Flojet

Is anyone using the Flojet macerator pump to pump over 100 feet with no elevation? What size discharge hose?

Dave I am using one with 100 feet of 1 inch. I got it at Lowes. It cost me about 80 bucks because it IS 1 inch and very heavy duty. I have abut a 3 foot run and have no problems. I did purchase an inside sewer cap with a hose connection on it. It fits into the standard red sewer elbow and I just connect the 1 inch to it... Dave P.S. Remember to ask me about it at the rally and I can show it to you.

David, we're using a Flojet with 50' of 3/4" and 50' of 5/8" over 100 feet with a 3" rise into the septic tank. Works just fine.

Ours works fine with 3/4 hose at 150 feet.

Thanks folks, I have been using 100' of 1" black plastic pipe and 4 lengths of 10'x1" PVC. The black pipe came in a big roll and was cheap but--- because we are where we are, camped out in our own back yard, I have to pick it all up and put it away after every use. That is about once a week. It is a pain to say the least. Dave, I checked all over this area and nobody has 1" and several people said it could be ordered. I couldn't find it online either. So I am going with about 25' of 5/8" off the pump into 100' of 3/4". I will let you know. Thanks for your experiences.

I use up to 100 ft of 5/8" rubber hose (50 ft lengths) and I have had to add 20 ft of 1/2" hose at times. Have had no problems.
