Leaving for Quartzite

Well the trip finally begins I will leave Surrey at 5AM in the morning and hopefully at Seven Feathers tommorow night. The next day into San Mateo for the night. Then to Bakersfield followed by a night in Desert Hot Springs. Pick Mary Ann up Sunday at Palm Springs Airport. 2 days in Salome, AZ then off to Q. Ray save me some rocks.

So why Don are you wasting two days in Salome when you could be be with us in Quartzsite? Last I looked, you have to go past Q to Salome from Palm Springs. I have been to Salome. The desert of Quartzsite with MOC friends is much more appealing!

We have a few things to do before we join you and meeting a couple of friends for a visit. I am at 7 Feathers tonight and it is fairly full for this time of year I couldn't believe it but when I got here there where bugs on the cap. With all the rain I went through you would think there would not be any around.

Butch,

There are only about 110 of his friends at Q.....and those Canadians think our fuel prices are low, so back tracking is not a problem...my guess.

Don & Mary Ann,

You ever been to Salome?

Hope there is still a space for you in the circle when you get to Quartzsite....first-come, first served....spaces are filling quickly.

Travel safely!
