When we first joined, I had just finished signing up for a website for Roy, "ToolmanRoy". He has never once posted anything on the MOC, though he reads it every day, so I should have included myself in the name or made another one for me, but 600+ posts later I hate to change anything. The name suits Roy, as he not only is a tool distibutor he loves all tools and every new gadget that comes out.

When I married Bill, I didn't go through the hassle of changing my last name so kept it as Adelson. Instead of Adelson-Moll I use Adelmoll for our user name.

I think that my name is self-explanatory. When a girl grows up in the country and has lived there most of her life...I would say that she is a Countrygirl.

Maybe I shouldn't say this but those of you that would like to change your user ID and not lose your count simply PM one of the Admins and ask them to make the change. You ID will change but your count will not.
When I first joined my ID was GlennNY as my name is Glenn and we lived in New York. Once we went full time the ID just didn't work so I asked to have it changed and the rest is history.

I am not real creative when it comes to names and I didn't realize that there would be a "posting name" when I joined so used my regular user name--my initals plus last name, but it can also stand for Jan and Paul; (my middle name is Pauline) --since I do the posting and he just reads some of the topics it works. I guess Seaweed would have been a good "posting name" but I will keep it the way it is so i don't have to remember something else.

Mine refers to my final rank in the Marine Corps plus my Air Traffic Control Operating Initials. TKO: T=Top (Master Sergeant) and KO=Kilo Oscar. We use operating initials everytime we complete internal coordination and when we sign on and off operating position logs.

The conventional representation of the Roman Numeral equivalent to the Arabic number "4" can be read as a homonym of my last name.
My wife shares my last name; her user name is therefore Roman4too.

The letters c5 stand for the fifth generation Corvette, and I raced Corvettes for years.

CanDO = Chris and Dave Olmstead. Another one who suffers from CRS and too many passwords and logins at work. That changes for Dave on 31 January and Chris on 31 May 2007. Retiring and going on the road!

When the family used to camp together a lot, we used cb radios a lot and my fatherinlaw was called wagonmaster. He was a grand old man he died last year at the age on ninety, so in his honor I picked his old cb handle as a users name on moc... Jack

Ours is, obviously, our last name. I have so many different user names on so many different sites, I chose one I could remember easily for this one.
I thought about using my CB handle, "straight shooter" but it's too long. [I chose straight shooter for the CB for two reasons: (1) I am an instructor for the NRA in pistol, shotgun, rifle and Home Firearm Responsibility; (2) I was one of the few on-the-road computer salesmen who tried to tell the truth to customers (a "straight shooter," as they say). If you someday hear "straight shooter" on the CB, that's me.]
My wife, April, uses a computer all day at work so she doesn't want to even SEE a computer at home. Thus she doesn't post, although I keep her up to date. It gives us lots to talk about and plan for.
Larry
PS: We consider ourselves "gonna-be's."

I guess mine is a no-brainer too. Mfoss, Marilyn Foss. I didn't realize either that that is what I'd be known as!! My husband doesn't post or read the MOC but gets lots of stuff second hand from me. We have our desks side by side down in the basement and pretty often I say, "Listen to this" as I read something REALLY interesting from the Montana site. Thanks everyone, very knowledgeable and nice people here. And Mac, you're a good son!

My name is self explanatory. My middle name is Dusty. I don't go by that "OTHER" first name , thanks to my friends and some of my family!
So my user name is pronounced as "Dusty to you." DustyTuU.
My husband is not on here often but his Moc name is Don M which is his name and our last name initial.
