Front hitch on truck for a bike rack

We are really happy with our Bodiak set up. You don't loose the front tow hooks, the Bodiak just clamps over them. When off the road for more than a month I like to remove the front hitch and I can do that in less than 5 minutes. While on the road I don't have visibility issues with my set up.

We also have the hidden hitch on the front of our Dodge. The only thing to watch for are dips and parking bumpers which may cause a slight problem for you. If you have a 4x4 than you will be high enough to avoid the problems. Ours is 2WD which is lower and causes some clearance problem. Because we don't haul our bikes as much I will probably remove the hitch.

We purchased a Reese 2-bike rack from Walmart. I think it was around $75.00 or so.

have one in my truck curt makes them for any truck i love it but all depend on the bike rack how high it sit i have perfect visibility for night time i have done it and no problem but then again i try not to tow at night
