IMHO, none of the Rv manufacturers put out a high quality product anymore. I believe that Montana is as good as any and better than some. Just be prepared to do a lot of your own repairs and modifications. You will save yourself a lot of grief and aggravation!

Thanks Byron,
I'm still new enough to RV'ing that I don't know of a time that RV's were better made. But I tend to separate RV's into 1. the stuff the RV maker build and 2. The stuff the RV maker purchased from suppliers. Most of the RV manufacturers use the same fridges, axels, leveling, furnaces, water heaters etc. Those are going to be about as reliable across RV brands with the exception of installation mistakes like bad wiring jobs or improper ventilation on fridges. The actual structure, the walls, ceilings, floors and cabinetry are built by each RV manufacturer. So I hold them particularly responsible for problems with leaks, sags, cracks, trim falling off and doors not closing correctly. When I go to sites like this one I look for complaints about the fundamental structure of the RV. The issues with the supplied parts I listed above happen across the board. I could go to the Grand Design Solitude forum and copy and paste their technical issues into the Montana forum and people would be hard pressed to tell the difference.
