Selling 5th wheel
Hi everyone, we are looking to sell our 2014 3850 FL MONTANA. What is the best place to list it? It’s the model with 5 slides, 2 doors and 2 AC units. Not used very much! Always stored in our pole barn. Thanks for your help!

I'd go with Craigs list and your local market place on Facebook. We sell lots of excess camping stuff on Craigs list and bought our HC from a seller on a local Facebook market place.

Look on the major RV sales websites and see what they are pricing them at and then price below them. Camping World is a good place to start, somewhere in the US they usually have one of most things.

I would be willing to pay extra for one that had been stored inside but how many people would?

That would be a reasonable place to start. Or even a little higher if you want. RV prices have been higher than normal for some time now. Although this is probably a little slower time of year for sales. Prices listed on various web sites can vary a LOT for the same year and model depending on how much someone hopes to get. But those are asking prices, not necessarily selling prices. You can always let the potential buyer bargain you down a thousand or two and let them feel good about their negotiating power.
Took a trip last week down I-35 Dallas to near Austin and passed by a number of RV dealers. Looks like inventory was pretty much full at every one. Apparently no longer a shortage.

I've done well on Craigslist over the years...just be smart about your sales process. For me it's in person only. Confirmed bank check or cash. Those kinds of things.
Depending on what kind of hurry you're in I always start high and work it down over the next few weeks. It's still a seller's market. I mostly check comps on other trailers for sale in my area as well as eBay pricing. NADA is also good to help me land in the correct ballpark.
Post a fair but higher end starting price and brush off your negotiating skills.
