Still hanging in..EDIT #1....
I apologize for not keeping everyone abreast of my condition. But since this whole thing began I have not been all that good a mood to do much of anything.
Due to some unusual problems I am now dealing with 2 different VA hospitals.
At Bay Pines in St Pete, yesterday I had a PET scan done on the bladder for the cancer. Hopefully I will have a report on the results shortly.
Tomorrow at 7AM I have an appointment at the Tampa VA for a Pre-OP for the kidney stone. I am hoping to have an appointment when I leave for it's removable.
As many of you know these problems have been on going since June and YES I did attend the Fall rally. No, my Dr. was not too happy with that. Not the happiest rally for Lorraine and I either but at least I kept my attendance at 100%.
Maybe now I will be getting some more positive results. Up until now most every procedure for the removal of the stone has failed and due to a urinary tract infection they were not able to work on the bladder. BTW-I am told the stone is 3/4" in diameter. I no longer refer to it as a stone but rather a BOULDER.
So please, if it's not asking too much, continue to keep us in your thoughts and prayers.
EDIT #1-- The prayers must be working as things are really looking up.
This Monday, the 2nd, I am scheduled with a 5 AM appointment at the Tampa VA hospital at which time they will be going in after the stone. Going to be a very long day. I will stay in the hospital for 3 to 5 days so don't be looking for me until I return home.
The bladder cancer situation is being put aside until the kidney problem is cleared up. Once the stone and any infection is gone they will be able to work on the bladder. As of now the bladder work is tentatively scheduled for Dec. 10 but that can change.

Glenn,
You are most certainly in our thoughts and prayers. Especially yesterday, when we had lunch at the LUX! Keep your spirits up, that will help with the battle.
