Power converter location

2011 Keystone Mountaineer 345 DBQ fifth wheel

Wondering if anyone can give me a clue where the power converter is located on our unit? I have been told it may be in the crawl space area behind a panel. Also, has anyone on this site had to replace a converter? Thanks for any help anyone can provide! Debbie Peterson

I don't know your unit, but this will work

1. turn off AC and furnace.
2. turn on a bunch of 12volt lightrs
3. listen for the fan and find it.

It's typically behind the wall in the belly storage area and usually relatively close to the location of your fuse panel. Just remove the screws to that panel and look around all the wiring. You'll see it...likely screwed to the floor.

I don't have the same model as you but mine is in the power center where all the fuses and circuit breakers are.

On the newer models it's built into the fuse pannel, but that's probably not the case on yours. On our 2010 it was screwed to the flooring under the stairs and could be accessed by either taking the slotted stair covers off or going in thru the basement wall.

find the model # of your fuse panel and look it up. See if it has a built in converter. Our 2011 unit does
