I agree with the other recommendations plus a good day trip while near Bryce Canyon is Scenic Highway 12 up to Capital Reef. That it is a good drive if you don't mind looking out either side of the truck straight down several hundred feet with no shoulder. We recommend not towing on Hwy 12.
