So far it has gotten down to 5 below on Thursday and 10 below on Friday. We are comfy in our rig. We have 2 full 100# propane tanks and the 2 - 30# tanks on board. We are skirted and water line is heat taped. We also put the heat shrink window film on all the windows to cut the drafts down.

The only thing we get is frost on the windows and in the corners inside the cabinets even with all the doors open but if that is the worst at 10 below we will take it.
Mark,

Basically I over cut the insulation and wedged it between the underside of the coach directly in front of the trailer frame and then applied the foil tape into the corner where the foam touches the underside and taped all the corners with foil tape.

So far it has held up for 2 months of freeze/ thaw and movement in the rig from walking around, exercise, etc.

We used 10 sheets of 3/4" foil faced Styrofoam from Lowes at $10 a sheet and a roll of foil tape for $13.

Has made a huge difference in the floor and basement temps.

Les

Just curious, how does your skirting attach? Is it custom made?
