Unhappy Lippert is going the wrong direction.

I happened to munch my OEM entry steps on our Montana on my last trip to Canada. I did a temporary fix until I returned home that worked. the OEM steps were manufactured by Hickory Springs MFG. CO. they used a 10 ga. cold role steel in their manufacture which was good and strong not any sideway flexing. the company has since been obtained by Lippert Inc. and they now manufacture the steps in a lesser gage steel, 12 ga. to be accurate and cheaper construction less load capacity 300 lbs, and a lot of flexing when approached from the side. Its sad that a company can take over another and cheapen the quality of what was a great product and make it less. I very disappointed with Lippert.
