We surely hate missing the rally at 7 Feathers this year. However, we are going to be in Texas acting as volunteer camp hosts at the Matagorda Bay Nature Center RV Park beginning June 1st, so we'll be heading away from Oregon instead of toward it when we leave Montana at the end of May. If any of you are going to be in Texas between June and the end of the year (possibly through March of next year), we hope you get down to Matagorda. The park sits right on the point of land where the Colorado River meets the Gulf of Mexico--great fishing, beach activities, and a very clean state-run park with full hookups. We'll be looking for Montana and MOC member numbers.
By the way--my impending retirement is official.
My resignation has been accepted and I'm walking out of the classroom for the last time on or before May 25th.
