Fifth Airborne

I just had my Fifth Airborne pin box replaced with a new one because the lower plate on the original pin box was rubbing on the left guide on the upper box. Another way to describe the situation is that the lower plate is not centered in the upper part of the pin box and the paint is being scratched off where the two parts are rubbing against each other. The lower plate on the new pin box is already showing the abrasion of being off-center and scraping the paint off of the lower plate. I do not know if there is any adjustment to center the lower plate so it does not rub against the sides of the upper box. Has anyone had a similar situation?
