Replace carpet with vinyl plank

CasaDelSol Montana Master Join Date: Jun 2008 Location: Sun City Center Posts: 626 M.O.C. #8563	Replace carpet with vinyl plank DH wants some help. We are replacing our carpet with Allure vinyl planks and replacing the carpet on the slide. We are not sure what is under the carpet. 1. Will we have to remove the old vinyl and will we have to lay a subfloor? 2. The carpet in the slide appears to be glued down...can it just be ripped up? 3. Do we glue the new slide carpet down when installing it? TIA
