Been by a gas station today?

Gas is $3.79 a gallon and Diesel is $4.09 a gallon in the Wichita area. We will still travel, but cutting projected trips in half. I know some will say what are you going to do other than whine, but our budget will only absorb so much.

I guess this post is no news to some as you've been on the north side of $4 a gallon for a while. We've been coddled here. Fuel went up $0.30 a gallon last night.

Yeah here too. Diesel in town is $4.49 I haven’t been by a truck stop today, but I bet it’s over 5 bucks.

Diesel is $5.04 in western PA today. Sad but true. Camping trips look local for now.

You are absolutely correct. What is so sad is that we are coming out of the pandemic where we didn't do too much for almost 2 years, now with these ridiculous fuel prices we can't afford the fuel to hit the road!!

Diesel around central Indiana is running $4.15 and $4.35. (depending on where you go). Gas is running right now $3.79 and $3.89.

Trying not to be political, but after the president's State of the Union address it seems things immediately got worse. World politics is definitely playing against us. It kind of reminds me of when there is a power outage in Antarctica for 15 minutes, the global response is immediately felt by, yet again, raising fuel prices. This planet is so screwed up.

At $4.50 a trip to Wyoming that is $2250 and at $5 it’s $2500. Now I wonder how is this going to affect MOC travel plans and how will it affect the general public’s travel plans. Will people still travel? Will the National Parks be crowded this year?

It will likely impact some, many will travel as always. With COVID letting up many will not feel confined to their rig resulting in fewer full campsites.

Life will go on.

In British Columbia diesel is $5.70 a gallon. Thats the price in American dollars using today's exchange rate. Gov here loves the carbon tax on fuel.

Might not be a bad place to hide out. Around here, diesel went up .15 overnight; now at $4.09.

Well diesel has jumped in South Arkansas to 4.10 to 4.49 a gallon depending on your location. Went and ate crawfish yesterday at Cormiers in Monroe, La. and fuel prices was 3.40 for gas and 3.79 for diesel but it probably jumped overnight like it did in South Ark. So, Yes our trips will be more local than long distance. Going to the Early Bronco Rally in Tennessee in April but we’ll be staying in Gatlinburg in a Cabin this year. Trying to not be political but we need to open up some drilling for the greater good!!

Gas around $3.39 -3.49 this area. Diesel 50 cents higher at most stations but have seen it 70 cents higher at times.

Diesel was 3.43 in St Pete’s Fl January 1st. It was 3.95 when we left Feb 1st. It was 3.95 in St Augustine when we left there March 1st. I topped off the truck in Ft Myers when we got here at 3.86. Today, 2days later, same gas station it was 4.46 when we drove by this morning. 60 cents over night. $1.03/ gal in 2 months

We just returned home to WV this week from a 3 week trip to South GA/FL.
Diesel was 3.89 on the way down and 4.25 on the way back.

We stayed in 3 different campgrounds and all were completely full. Stayed in 2 rest areas while traveling and they were full too. lol

I don't think it matters if it goes to $6+ a gallon. I think the state and national parks will still be full. I know its not stopping us.

I just checked Brent crude $118 a barrel. Gas is going to get expensive.
