Rapid switching noise in AC (power supply is off)

dieselguy Montana Master Join Date: Feb 2005 Location: Haysville Posts: 4,261 M.O.C. #3085	Your thermostat controls are 12V DC ... they control the 120V part of the A/C as in compressor and fan. Sounds as if you may have a bad thermostat.
