I put an add in craigslst every so often. I ask for an RV Detailer and have had good luck. Usually a guy from a body shop. I have a kid I use for regular washing etc. I suspect you can pay less than I do, but here is the math where I live. RV detail places and CW charge $4.00 foot to wash. $14.00 ft to detail outside. That is way to rich for my blood. The most resent guy I hired I paid $18.00 hour, I provided the products. Took him Seven hours, wish polish and sealer coat. At that rate I can use him 7-8 times a year. I tell them upfront "no cell phone calls", take regular breaks, if I can hear music in the house it gets turned off and I supply soda or water. I want it done in one sitting. Here is my ad I used. Put it under "Gigs" in CL jobs portion. Never put your number, use CL email provider. If they respond correctly, call them. Don't like what they write in response, don't respond back.
Ad: Title: RV Detailer Needed!
Had a guy that took care of my RV for couple years. Washed, polished, full exterior detail on a monthly basis. I expect someone to be knowledgeable and have equipment. I provide products and location. This is extra work, not full time job. I expect you to be on time and get the job done. I pay $16.00 to $20.00 hour depending on how you perform. It's a 40 footer and not for those without stamina, strength to finish the job. Job requires being able bodied and person who can climb ladder. I want this to be a regular service, not a one time job. I don't care about your record or checkered background, I judge you on your performance today. Do well I will send you to my associates. Do poorly or be dishonest then we part company quickly. Pretty much what I am looking to find. Job starts yesterday... Get at me and I will call you back. Please have experience, I don't want to train you or be your coach. Convince me you know your stuff! I Thanks
