Motorcycle carrier on back of rig
I would like to know if anyone has installed a reciever hitch on the back of a montana fifth wheel. I have a 3295RK that I would like to put a reciever hitch to carry 400 lbs. Has any montana owner done this with success.

Hello Larry,
Welcome to the fourm
There has been quite a bit of discussion about this recently. Try to do a search at top of page. Simply type in "reciever" or "motorcycle" and you should find lots of stuff including pictures.
Get back to us if your having trouble with the search.

Larry, I have just finished adding a 2" reciever to the back of our 3575 montana. There are several things you should know before trying to add a hitch to your 5'ver. I have been welding for 25 years and this project required some special structural knowledge. You can private mail me for more info if you wish.

Larry, I had dealer install receiver on back of my 2002 Montana and bought a motorcycle carrier from Camping World. We have never had a problem with it. We haul a Honda 150 on back of the trailer and Honda 80 on the front of our truck. We don't go anywhere with out our cycles.
