2017 3610
Does anyone have the individual recliners in their 2015 - 2017 Montanas? It seems all the ones being ordered or on dealer lots have the theater seats. We are interested in trading for either the 3610 or 3611 but don't want the theater seats. What brand/model individual recliners are they using if you order without the theater seats? Also, how are the cable systems working on the bedroom slides? Thanks,

We have a 2015 3610 with the cable system and have experienced zero problems with them at this point. Ours is an early 2015 and we ordered ours WITH the theater seating as at that time all the dealer stock was with recliners. Interesting how trends change in such a short time.
Absolutely love the floor plan by the way, this is our 4th Montana and the best plan for us so far.

Ordered ours last October and theater seating was an option. Standard seating was the recliners. Can't say as of now as they changed our front closet some time after ordering which was an improvement for w/d setup. They can change as they want during the model year it would be best to check with your dealer as to what is standard now not saying it wont change.

Same as DarMar for us, but we love the theatre seating. No problems with the cable system in the slide.

We have a 2015 3735MK and did not want the theater seating as well so they took a set of swivel/ rocking recliners with the recline LEVER on the side out of another MK and they are nice and they are Franklin Brand recliners and a huge step up from our 2012 recliners which had JUNK Flair brand cable pull recliners that wore out quick and the Cable pulls broke 3 times before I got rid of them, the new Franklin's are holding up well after 1 year+ of fulltime use

We also do not like the theater seating. When we have a conversation we like to look at each other rather than the side of a head. If we want to "get close" there are other places to do so. We love our Lazy Boy leather recliners.

Interesting on how each of us have different wants. We have a 2015 - 353RL and we wanted the theater seating. We like the storage between the seats. So we will celebrate the difference!
We also have the cable system, it works fine. We had a bracket come off last summer, but I think it was the screws. There was a recall on some Montana's for the screws on the cable system. Had the cable system on our SOB ( OR are the initials) and never had issues. My biggest b**ch is that the drive motors are too light. I know it is a cost thing but cheap is not always the right way. Just my 2 cents! I will add make sure you lube and maintain the slide and cables to minimize issues!

New to 5th wheeling. We are picking up our 2015 3610 RL this Monday. Maybe you can answer a question for us. Does this model come with the aluminum steps. ?? Can't find this information anywhere.
We were lucky to find a new 2015 with the Legacy PKG. Towing with a 3500 DRW.
Thanks, Chris and Mark

We have a 2015 3100rl with two Montana package recliners. We don't care for them because of their large size - looking to replace them with smaller ones. To date, no problems with the cable slide.

In my 375FL the Theater Seats are not so comfortable nor are the two couches in the LR Slides. I would definately suggest spending some sitting time in them before you buy!

We have the original 2015 3610RL with the W/D in the kitchen and love it....we have the individual Franklin recliners and they are OK.
As for the bedroom cable slide we had one cable end snap at the bolt but I was able to Rube Goldberg it back together until we get back to the states and are able to get a new slide cable.

I have a 2014 3610 with the recliners and would love to trade for the theater seating. I just get tired of pulling the recliners away from the wall and then push them back when I'm ready to travel. I'm looking for either power theater seats or power wall hugger recliners.

We had the recliners in our Montana and I wasn't sure about the theater seating that came in our Big Sky. Turns out that we LOVE the theater seating. Don't have to move them away from the wall to recline and don't have to secure them for travel. I thought I would miss the rockers, but I don't. Our couch and theater seating is very comfortable.
Not problem with the cable slide in the bedroom.

The twin recliners are comfortable for us, although to move them to the upright position takes serious leg power. Sofa is less comfortable due to the shallow depth of the seat portion. As to the cable-actuated slides, the number 2 slide (kitchen/sofa) motor strains to move the slide in and out. You can hear the motor grind to a premature stop. Have to toggle the switch back and forth to complete the extension or retraction. did this even without a load in the cabinets. Added this to our warranty list.

We like the theater seats after several months. Didn't know about the USB. Looked and there it is! Wife loves not having to move recliners when moving or setting up. She is the inside person. We have the Schwintec electric slides and have worked thus far. I thought it had the cable slides before PDI.
