Glenn,
Think we stayed there a couple of times, had the largest pine cones we had ever seen!
My ancestors lived there in 1800's, left the area just before 1900. Found some cousins that still live in the area, one of them was running a plantation for a nice RICH dude! Spent a day with him driving all around this plantation, looking at the old barns, how they were built, the old rice fields, how they flooded them, it was a very interesting and memorable day.
Oh, it did rain when we were there, we named the "puddle" in front of our TT, "Lake Stevens". It did dry up just before we pulled out, after about 5 days with no rain.
But we did enjoy our stay at the park.
Myrtle Beach should be nice this time of year.
Safe rides!
Carol
