Caulking sides

I notice that i should be recaulking some of my sides. what caulking are you guys using for the sides these days?

and any suggestions on how to get the old caulking off?

Clear silicone is what it on mine now. The dealer put black on it, but it peeled off in under 6 months..

I use ProFlex RV (clear) caulk. For silicon removal, I found McKanica Silicone Caulk Remover to be the most effective of the various products I've tried (thanks to the forum member who recommended it).
