Lippert good job
had another "Minimal" problem on our top of the line best you can buy 2013 3402 Big Sky. This time it was the latch on the sliding window in the slide out that failed. Could not find a part number or a replacement for it anywhere. Called Lippert who ownes Kinro windows and spoke to a very nice lady who went out of her way to look up the part that I did not even know the name of and send me a replacement free of charge. Thank you Lippert.

Sure does seem like you have had a rash of issues crop up beyond all that came with your big sky. I suggest that you find a shaman, witch doctor,or someone that can remove the obvious curse on that rig. Maybe joe line worker built your rig with all the available defective parts in the assembly building. John

I have meant to comment on Lippert service since the Rally in Goshen. I took my Mountaineer to Tiara for the slides creeping out while traveling. I made the appt. 10-14 days in advance. I leave it there the exit day from the rally for 4 hours. I go back and they say they don't have the pressure gauges need to test the hydraulics. So WHY THE HECK DID THEY MAKE THE APPT????
But on to Lippert. Tiara called them about 1 PM to see if they could look at the trailer. I was there at 7 am the next morning and they worked until 12:30. Replaced both of the big slideout hydraulic piston assemblies. I have had no problems since then (although I have only used it for about 2 weeks on the way home).
It was comfy in the waiting room with cable TV to occupy our time.
Good job Lippert.

I do not think I have a unusual number of issues on this big sky or on the 06 3400. The difference is we will talk about them and report on them. Maybe if we all reported our "minimal" problems we would have a clearer picture of the quality of our Montana's. IMO all brands have the same Minimal issues.
Except for the failed holding tanks all of our issues have been "minimal" meaning I could have repaired them my self. That does not mean we did not have many issues. Right now we have a entrance door latch and a slide window latch on order. Both minimal and both failed while siting on our winter lot in Florida.
