Looking for Florida Suggestions
We are looking for a place to spend 4-6 weeks in Florida (Late Jan thru Feb). Coast doesn't matter; would like reasonable facilities and points of interest to visit. Any suggestions will be helpful!

You may have trouble finding a place for that time period. Most fill up during Jan and Feb, but can accept you for a few days to maybe a week or two, but 4 to 6 weeks might be hard. There are some on the Atlantic coast, such as Seasons in the Sun in Mims, Treasure Coast RV in Fort Pierce (we've stayed at both and are nice parks. There is also Road Runner in Fort Pierce, don't know alot about it, but lots of folks stay there. We'll be in Sebring (middle of the state) at Tanglewood Outback RV this year, but plan to look for a place closer to the Gulf for next year. You can always stay a week or so in an area to view the sites and then move on to a new area. Plenty to see and do. Good Luck

We will be at River Lodge RV Resort in Inglis (between Tampa and Ocala). Last year they were not crowded and it is a small campground. Does have a heated swimming pool and laundry facilities. Reasonably priced. http://www.riverlodgervresort.com/

You might try Blueberry Hill or Paradise Oaks in Bushnell, FL. Both are lovely parks and lots of activities.

We considered Quail Run RV Resort north of Tampa but our travel plans changed. Looked like a nice place with access to a lot in the area.

Try Lake Magic RV resort in Clermont. Nice place, lots of activities, close to all the parks, Disney, Seaworld etc.

Bay Bayou just north of Tampa is a nice park and when we were there two years ago they had plenty of room. Check them out!
