Last year we took down the valances (corniest) and I made new ones and we painted them a light yellow.
This year we got rid of the day night shades.
Went to Home Depot and got the good quality blinds, not bright white but a white.
My wife absolutely and I do also love them.
Easy to twist the rod and the shades open up or pull the string and up the shades go, pull the string down they come.
Easy to adjust the the overall lengths, to fit the windows.
I think we spent around $200 for 11 shades.
Easy to clean.
Brightens up the whole unit.
We have also painted all the walls, the rear a aqua color and the slides a light cream yellow, looks like Home.
Well it is Home, we are full timers.
