Millinery & wood turning go together

My wife was interested in making a few hats 12 years ago, and asked me if I could make her some hat blocks (wood forms to make hats on). Told her I'd need a lathe & some tools, and that's how I started turning. We've been vending at art & craft shows, wine festivals and even a canoe race for over ten years now. We picked up a TT about six years back when the previous year's hotel bills hit $2k, and upgraded to our Monty last spring. Both of us bring things to make or finish when we're on the road, but keep the majority of our 'stuff' at home. So far our longest junket has lasted one month, but we're planning a two month one this winter (to Arizona, naturally!). You can see what we do on our website: http://www.abhats.com
