I take in anything that will freeze, canned goods, spices. I remove batteries from anything that is staying such as clocks, carbon monoxide detector, etc. Like Eagleback, I put dryer sheets everywhere (don't forget the outside storage), along with mothballs. I don't worry about bed linens or towels or clothes, for that matter. I've found with a copious amount of dryer sheets and mothballs, I haven't had problems with mice getting into that stuff (knock on wood).
