Rich.... Don has a Colt Mark 4 automatic 45. I have no problem with the slide on it. But it has had many thousand rounds shot from it.
My CZ is a little stiff but used "Gun Juice" on it and made it better. That has graphite in it. So have no problems with automatics. But I don't worry about my nails.
