If your truck came with the factory 5th hitch prep package, I would go with the Ford offered hitch. You can get up to a 25k hitch, they are a SNAP to install or remove, you don't have to reinvent the wheel figuring out bed rail mounting and it's a Reese. That's my setup.

FYI several manufacturers made workarounds for our Ford Factory Setups. Curt helped us out so we did not get forced into new hitch!
