You can keep what you have, but when the pedal comes off and water starts flowing everywhere at 3:00 something in the middle of the night or when you aren't there during the day, you will think back on this conversation and wish you took all this experience to heart and just replaced the poorly designed Thetford toilet that Keystone installs in these rigs. Friends in a motorhome had the toilet fail, flooded the rig with black tank waste when the tank overflowed, and even though insurance covered the repair, it was still a bad experience because they were full time and were out of the rig for weeks. We replaced our failed Thetford well over four years ago and it has worked flawlessly since. The Thetford was a constant hassle, trying to keep water in the bowl, getting it to flush properly, and then when it fell apart, trying to get a new part and then being unable to get the new part to work. Good luck.
