Seems like it was bad for farmers in a number of places. Very dry winter in Kansas and from when we got back in late April until the first week in August we only got 1/4 inch. Then until we left in late October 18-26 inches. Then when we were back for Christmas they were finally getting some things out of the fields and they got 2 inches in one day. Most folks lost it all except what silage they got in the summer and now most of the rest are loosing the rest. Farmings always been a tough way to make a living, but it does seem to be getting harder.
