Left the original on the truck's back bumper last year and I was seriously lost until I was able to get another one! Makes hooking up, leveling, and just about everything super easy. Only negative isn't with the remote, but with the weak frame on the electric awning - I'm afraid to have it out in even a breeze. When that thing goes, I'm going to seriously consider a manual replacement.
