John-- That's why you do the "tug test" with the tailgate down! My bedsaver is just the right height that when it drops (if it drops-- I also did the test drop as Rich did) it just clears the tailgate. I do have a new Moryde pinbox now so I have to test that also-- after I get the truck back from the body shop!
