According to our service center, there is a sensor in the AC unit that has a connection that either needs replacing or that the sensor has come out of its location and is hanging by the wires. Some of them have burned the connector, but some only need to be pulled apart and dielectric grease put on and reinstalled. Ours has already had the sensor replaced once that cured the problem, but since it came back this summer, I've been too down with my back to actually get up there and do something about it. It will not hurt anything to leave it though according to my dealer.
