The first time we had to have our cooling unit replaced, the tech showed me a way to adjust the fridge doors. With the weight of the door, plus the wood insert, and any food in the door, it tends to bend the lower hinge down, which causes the white bottom of the door to drag on the mating part of the fridge interior. He just used a pair of pliers to slightly lift the hinge tab to raise the door a bit, and the door stopped dragging and opens much easier. Best to have another person lift the door a bit to make it easier to bend the hinge.
