When you go there they will weigh your unit then you can make a choice. They will advise you also. They will not try to up grade you because if you go to 8K and it is not needed the unit will ride rough and they don't want that. I was going with the 7K and when they weighed it I was within 450 pounds of the 7K so I went with the 8K.
