The Amish that built my shed and roofed my house did not work on piecework. They took pride in what they did. No one told them how much to get finished daily before they could get to farm work. 20 years ago they would make a good wage. The $15 per hour means a lot of pieces to get to the $60,000 recently reported as not unusual. I believe at that they or anyone would rather be proud of what they produced.
