We just remove the pigtail on the street side tank, and then I have a 20' hose that I hook up to the grill.

However, I think that the question about the quick connect fitting is not the same as the fitting linked here. We were at the RV show yesterday, and there were units that actually had external ports that accepted air line type quick connects for outside propane. The fitting linked would still be a screw fitting.

I didn't actually see the hose that was supplied with the unit, but it would have been something that looked like this:
