There is a museum or such in Shelborne, Vermont. It has a river boat that got moved in via a temporary railroad track for several miles, I think. Acadia NP in Maine. While there if you like lobster there are lobster shacks where it is pretty cheap. Wife ate it every day and on last day ordered the biggest one they had. Overkill - she didn't want lobster for many days after that !!!
We went the northern route and stopped in Cleveland Rock and Roll hall of fame and Niagra falls - both interesting.
