My front speakers were wired backwards from the factory. I used the gray noise audio test in the menu to check and correct. As far as your issue is concerned are you going to use a dish? The receiver will have an optical out. If you're going to use the antenna or cable you'll have to go with the TV speakers unless you're watching a disk.
