Tybee Island is a lot of history. Watch out for the alligators in the canals around the grounds. Of course, Savannah is absolutely gorgeous. I've never seen such a concentration of very old city parks with the biggest and oldest trees. For shopping and some good restaurants in one of the oldest areas of Savannah I'd recommend River Street especially east of the Hyatt. And if you can find some of Paula Dean's Vidalia Onion salad dressing, WOW that's good stuff.

One of our regrets is not getting to Hilton Head. Keep us posted.
