They asked if I had a player's card. I do, but it's at home. With a player's card you get to stay free, or get discounted. However, if the General Manager has not changed, then I know him - might just look him up.
BUT, at 19.50 + tax, I'm not really looking for a comp.
WIth that said, this is a nice place. long pull throughs, over 200 of them, shuttle to and from the casino. free wi-fi, etc.,
There is one problem - I'm back in the South, thank God, but it is so freaking hot. It was 97 when we drove in at 1430 hours.
Oh! And I-10 is still a washboard, but the West side of I-10 is not as bad as the East side going into N.O. It knocked me all over the place when I didn't expect it.
I'm trying to talk the wife into two days here, but she's getting antsy and wants home to the stick house. It's a day ride now.
