If the thermistor falls off or is accidentally knocked off the fin, will the refrigerator / freezer stop cooling and freezing? (Main power button is on, auto light is lite, and the climate control switch is on). When I felt the bottom of freezer, it felt cool but not cold to the touch. (thawed and spoiled in the freezer and everything very warm in refrigerator.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
