My '14 3150RL has what looks like pepper ingrained in the silicon. You can clean the outside of the sealer and it becomes clear so you can see the mold in the sealer.

Had they used ProFlex, it would not mold or ever need to be re-caulked.

If you get some, be aware if you get it on something you do not want it on, it is damn near impossible to clean up excess. Don't goo it on and expect to just wipe off the excess. Been there/done that.
