What happened to us?
Bet you are all wondering. The first problem was getting on the internet. We are using a friend's phone line until we can work through the cell phone (ANY COMMENTS WELCOME).
We picked up our 3295 on our 6th wedding anniversary 9/13. We went to a nearby campground and stayed overnight - shakedown - and found a minimal number of problems. Mainly the DVD/CD/FM/AM 5:1 system did not work - volume too high on FM - no pic on TV with DVD.
Left the unit back at the RV dealer for almost 10 days - and picked up after Hurricane Isabel. The prep tech got us hooked up and said "Good to go" but after pulling out only one foot the rig fell off the hitch and crashed into the bed. The tailgate V/d and the side rales dented on our 1 month old 2003 GMC 3500 dually. I cried! The service manger was "kind" enought to tell us to call our auto insurance company to claim the damage. Once I explained to her and RV center owner that we did not cause the damage she ran away. We are going to send estimates to the RV center for the repairs. They are also to repair the minor damage to the stripping at the base of the front end.
So we moved on down the road after 4 1/2 hours and pulled into our friends' back yard. We hooked up and moved in. We have now been in full-time for over a month.
