Florida summers are tough. In our 12th snowbird season in the same Florida park (leave in April). Folks who do leave their rigs experience exterior oxidation ( unless full body paint/clear coat) despite faithful waxing, Caulk dries out much faster and leaks are always a worry. Primary concern is the roof which gets baked. Many use covers. Interior concern is mold and mildue from humidity. Many set their thermostats at 80 and run their ACs continuously throughout the storage timeline. Others install interior reflective covers for all windows, and run fans combined with venting. I bet you will get responses recommending everything from charcoal to dryer sheets to other mold control products available on the market. Expect mice and other visitors if you leave any foodstuffs in the unit. For the most part, folks come back to our park after six months and find their rigs in good shape, but the exteriors in particular take a beating.
