I feel fortunate, I have had two Chevy diesels in the last 4 years and no engine problems whatsoever. My '05 had an AC problem until we had the module replaced and the '08 had a windshield fluid heater problem which was removed and GM gave me a check for $100.00. Felt pretty lucky then. My post above was not meant to be argumentative with anyone. I was only stating what I have read on this forum about the Fords. I do not subscribe to any other forums, perhaps I should. I believe the OP question was about the Ford specifically.
