No they didn't need the monty or a pic. They simply looked it up by year and brand and came up with the formula. I don,t know what the colour names on the right of the label mean but that label was what their computer printed to make the paint color. Since they must be working from a central data base, I would think any Sherwin Williams auto paint store should be able to access this formula. It matched my back cap very well after the clear coat was applied.
