Thanks, all, for your kind words. Don, we just got this truck a couple of months ago and, to my knowledge, it is not chipped. The guy from the repair shop said that this happens quite frequently, more in Dodges than others. Said it is probably just a stress fracture. He is at the top of a 5 mile, 6% grade so I imagine he sees a lot of stress problems. He does repair work for the Arizona State Police which are as stressed a fleet as one could find.
