TYhanks to all the great info I received here, I decided to search for the hard to find, elusive 2006 Chev/GMC D/A 4x4. I couldn't find one within 200 mi of son's zip. So I stopped at a Dlr to check out I CTD and Lo and behold, there it sat with 80k mi on it and 3 mo left on warrenty. It is a 2006 GMC Sierra 2500 D/A 4X4 ext cab SB with new PA Inspection which is pretty comprehensive, good Michlein tires, excellent body and paint, spray in B/L. It has the 6 sp Allison, new shocks and wheel bearing, and drove very smooth.Got it for 21k, straight deal. Due to the glowing recomdations here, I felt it was a great buy. Thanks again, Ray
