king to queen conversion
OK, I know there has been many discussions on this subject, but I am not good at searches. When I search I get threads from 2005 and such so I apologize if I repeat.
I am downsizing from a king to queen mattress. I will replace rather then trim the plywood base so I can extend the length a bit to reduce mattress overhang at the bottom. My question is for those who have done this what width did you use on the base platform? I'm thinking 58" to give just a bit of overhang on the sides. What have others done. I will stop at 78" on the length to allow slides to close.
